Running Arts - Art for Runners & their Friends and Family: Posters, Prints and Original Art

Three types of running images are offered in this section: "posters", "prints" and "originals".

A "poster" is generally an unlimited edtion of an image - not mass-produced, but not limited to a set number of pieces produced either. Generally, "posters" are not signed and are less expensive then Prints and Originals. They are printed with archival inks on a double weight mat paper and are of a high quality.

"Prints" are printed with archival inks on archival paper - usually Somerset Velvet, but sometimes Arches "Infinity". They are produced in a limited quantity (normally, editions are of 100) and signed and numbered by the artists(s). They are slightly more pricey than the "posters", but worth the difference if a person is interested in having the artists signatures, or in the event they are purchasing as an "investment". These prints tend to increase in value over the years - because they are signed and numbered in a small edition.

Original Paintings are the third level of running image offered. Originals are a little more difficult to come by, because most of the work done by Phil and Ana is sold through galleries and doesn't stay available for long. Phil has been painting for over thirty years and his work is well known and published worldwide. As a result, it is collected by many people and some have "standing orders" for first choice to buy new originals. However, some of the work is available and usually runs in the price range of $850 - $2500. Part of the price is based on the size of the piece, part on the appeal of the painting.

Purchases can be made through PayPal, with a credit card, or you can mail a cheque, if you prefer.
