Running Arts - Art for Runners & their Friends and Family

These pictures are examples of the running art produced by Phil and Anastasia Dynan. The two artists often work together on paintings - passing them back and forth until they are satisfied with the final painting. They generally work from photos that they take themselves and do their paintings in oil or acrylics. They offer three services for people interested in running art: (1) art for runners that want to decorate their home or office, inlcuding original works as well as inexpensive prints; (2) custom portraits for runners, done with photos supplied by the runners, or taken by Phil and Ana during a photo shoot with the client; and (3) event artwork for small to large races and events.

The theme of a lot of the running art done by Phil and Ana is taken from "favourite running spots" that Phil runs. He is a veteran marathoner, having completed over 50 marathons and a couple of Ultras. Some of the "favourite places" or running trails in the paintings include: Lake Tahoe, the Black Rock Desert, the Northern California coast; Dillon Beach, San Francisco, Sierra College XC (Roseville, CA), Bishop (CA), Tucson (AZ), and San Diego (CA).
