Western States Trail - near Forest Hill, California
The Western States 100 mile race
is one of the most popular 100 Mile Ultra's in the world. The trail itself is
an amazingly complex and beautiful adventure - whether you are walking, running
or on horseback.
A lot can happen in the 100 miles
that the Western States race covers. Sometimes you feel very much alone; other
times you spend hours near someone else, silently sharing the adventure.
This original sketch was done near Forest Hill, which is around mile 60 in the
run. This is a giclée print, signed and numbered in an edition of 100.
